1. Do you have (more) information on the crypto law in country [x]?

No, I don't. Every information I have is in the survey.

It's hard to get information on the crypto law in [x]. You may try a posting to alt.security.pgp or talk.politics.crypto, or send a message to cypherpunks@toad.com, with a subject title like "Crypto law in [x]?" Perhaps someone will read it who has a business contact there. Alternatively, you'd better ask the government of [x] or your embassy in [x].
If you manage to find out, please share the information with me!

2. Is there a paper/ PDF/[x] version available?

No. I intend the survey to be an up-to-date HTML document for easy reference. If you want a paper version, you had best print the page containing the survey information at:
http://law.uvt.nl/koops/lawsurvey/cls2.htm
Bear in mind, however, that the survey is being updated regularly, and occasionally corrected. Moreover, the situation in crypto laws changes reasonably fast, so you shouldn't rely too much on an older version.

3. Can't you offer a version for downloading?

I could, but I rather won't. The survey is a living document, and I don't want older versions to roam around the Internet. I prefer people to check the latest version online.

4. I want to export this crypto product from the US. Can I?

I'm not an expert on US export laws. I suggest you read the section in my survey, and check the links to the export archives. If you still don't know, my rule of thumb is: if it's important, get a lawyer, if it's not important, don't bother (but feel free to ask me, though).

5. How long will the Crypto Law Survey be at this URL, and will you continue to update it?

I will continue to maintain and update the survey while I work at Tilburg University, which will be at least for  several years to come. The current URL will be valid for a very considerable period.

6. Can you provide the maps in other colors/graphics/formats?

No. The maps are handmade, not automated from a database.
